Go back for the doors or not?

See? Told you my sewing room was messy. I HATE those electrical panels, but in order to get my room big enough to be useful, they had to be in the room. I tried hanging a cork board over them (there it is in the pile on the ground) but it stuck out weird. And I didn’t like it anyway.

So, I was at IKEA this weekend, looking for some frames (more on that in the next day or two, as soon as I locate the duct tape), when I saw this cabinet. Look how nicely it covers those ugly panels! Plus, the red will go great with my new ironing board cover. But I think I might go back for the doors, seen here. Thoughts?

  1. Aw, poor sick kid :(
I’d say doors 100%. It would make my OCDness happy. And if mine is happy, I KNOW yours would be happy.

  2. I love the shelf. Get the doors, it looks even better with them.

When you’re done with organizing over at your place an you come help me at mine?

Tempered safety glass? Go for it.

Hope the little guy feels better soon.

  4. I love it!!! And I love that you got it in RED. That is mine and Io’s favorite color! It looks really nice there! Get the doors and then maybe little hands will stay out of it better?? LOL

  5. I vote for the doors too.
I love being able to hide things behind closed doors. Not that you would ever need to hide anything!

Sorry about the sick kiddo– I hope he is feeling better soon.

  6. Love it.. and yes you NEED the doors.. lol. Want to come decorate my house?

  7. Ok…I am laughing so hard right now at the duct tape, all because of Campbell rolling it down the stairs when I was there! Yes, he found it!! I may be a dork, but I kind of like it without the doors. Either way looks great. Love the red!

  8. Poor Campbell.

At first I was going to say no on the doors. I like the look of the utility of the objects in a room for thier purpose. Did that even make sense? But then I clicked the link and saw that the doors are glass. i like that. plus, one more barrier between that stuff and little hands. plus, it’s your money I’m spending. I vote doors.

  9. So what happens when the power goes out and Bryan is looking for the breaker? I see that shelf flying across the room at insane speeds. Let’s hope Campbell isn’t sleeping there at the time.

  10. You really think it’s Bryan that handles those kind of situations around here?

Plus, I’m putting it on Moving Men…the best As Seen on TV product EVER. Wait. They’re not better than the Ronco rotisserie.

  11. Are you forgetting OXYCLEAN! (I’m trying to yell it like that moron that sells it). And how about SHAMWOW!
