I LOVE that cake pan, and just made the cake for my little girls birthday cake. I just used ONE cake mix. I filled up the top first about 2/3 full and then put the rest in the bottom part. It didn't turn out as large as I thought, but it was perfect…I ended up making 3 total! They are ADORABLE! Good luck and have fun!

I made that cake for my daughter's first birthday last year and it took 2 boxes of cake mix-my schedule did not allow me time to make the cake from scratch!
