Love the idea of using the washer. I just started making hand stamped jewelry for my friend as a new baby gift and posted it to my Etsy store. I found that you HAVE to use at least a 16 oz. hammer and strike hard a few times. I bought my stamps at Evies Tool Emporium on Etsy for $19 and they are a solid quality stamp. Were there any specific weight of washers you used?

Those are awesome! Good idea using washers, I'll have to try that next time I need to make a bunch without spending too much money. (Like when I did an activity for my sister's achievement days group.) Did you like the Harbor Freight stamp set OK? I tried one from there and it didn't stamp very well.
