She made this using my zippered laptop sleeve tutorial. And it was her very first time sewing in a zipper. Like, EVER.

Well…heck! If she can sew in a zipper, so can I! I was looking at the tutorial earlier wondering "maybe I could do this without the zipper part…?". Gotta try it now. I've got an old vintage sheet that is just crying to be cut up and made into a laptop case! Thanks for the motivation.
