Man, can I relate! The "oppositional defiance" arguments over EVERYTHING drives me completely loco! I try to pick my battles, use a structured reward system and (as long as he thinks it's his idea) he does great. Potty training worked at his own pace with positive reinforcement/chart/reward. I'll bet you could whip one up! Hang in there. It really does get better.
