(Mine sounds like the size of your old one…I totally relate). I can see why you're not in love though. When compared to your other rooms the proportions in this one are off from your decorating style. Maybe larger side tables would get some better balance at the bed end. A nice chandeliere in the tv area, some soft panels on the windows…You really should LOVE your bedroom :) Lots of great things to work with!

Gotta love it. Every time I post a pic from inside or outside of our house, my daughter goes beserk, convinced every crook in the county will show up to steal my crap.

One of the things we did in our new house (well, we've been here 16 years….) was to get rid of all the dressers–we only put crap on them, not in them. I put wire basket systems in all the closets instead. It has really really helped with the affliction known as "If there's a horizontal surface put something on it."
