It’s hard to feel Spring-y

when your front yard looks like this:

*sigh*

And I had some serious spray painting on the agenda today!

  1. Thats what we woke up to this morning also…you don't happen to be in Idaho :)

I hate the snow…I am so glad that I am going somewhere warmer for the rest of this week.
    Have a great day :)

  2. We had that on Saturday! Now we have 60 degree weather and sunshine. Spring will come, keep your chin up!

  3. If it's any consolation, at least you can feel assured the snow won't last much longer at this point. We had the most gorgeous weekend here on Long Island, and now it's pouring rain. We even had a thunderstorm last night!
Hang in there–I bet you'll be spray-painting within a few days!

  4. Oh yuck. They're calling for snow here later too, but not that much I hope! It will melt off quickly – then you can get to your spray painting :)

We know the feeling here in Missouri. Our children decided to come for a spring break visit. They had to spend the night at a truck stop in TX with two little ones in the car. They finally made it Sunday night – 24 hours later than expected. We were so worried. ~Kelly

  6. Our snow had all melted then it snowed again Friday…but today is Tuesday and it seems to all be gone again, so maybe you will have the same luck!

I hear ya! We probably have 2 feet in our front yard still. But that's what you get for living in the mountains in Colorado. We'll have a beautiful summer though…. Ellen

  8. Andromache says:

    OMG where are you?
I'm in Ontario (Canada) and we definately don't have snow. The maritimes don't either (next to Maine).
    How ironic

  9. Agreed! Go away, snow!!

  10. That would make it hard to feel springy! I hope it melts soon!

  11. Lynn from For Love or Funny says:

Snow should be illegal after February.

  12. Kristine Robinson says:

    Double sigh**

Unground Macy, please? Or punish her at my house??

  13. We're a balmy 78 degrees right now! ;)

  14. QuiteContrary says:

Yep, that looks like how we spent the last day of spring break this past weekend. I'm just north of Dallas and we had about 9 inches!?! It kinda thwarted my painting plans too!

  15. I know how to fix that. Just get in the car, you, the kids and the spray paint and head south. Come visit one of your favorite persons (me) and enjoy our 70-80 degree weather we have been having.

I promise you a good time ha ha! I will even introduce you to our paint guy at home depot, I think you would like him just as much as the last one we hung out with.

PS I still had to overide you and your smut you have posted. ;)

  16. We are getting even more up here in Northern Alberta, Canada! :( We thought spring was here but not yet….now we will have to wait for all of this snow to melt….again!

  17. agreed! FRICK i'm tired of the snow.

  18. "Cottage By The Sea" says:

I LOVE WHEN IT SNOWS anywhere but where I am. I especially love it when it snows in Dallas, Texas where my daughter is about to graduate University. I send lots of pics showing her our beautiful weather at home, along with the surf report everyday. Along with that, and snow in Dallas, middle of March, I do believe I may get her to move back to Cali after graduation. Fingers crossed!
