Is there a support group for this?

I’m addicted to freezer paper.

Look what I made with some pumpkin carving stencils and some spray paint!

Admitting it is the first step, right?

These would be fun for sewing group sometime. They are kind of sewing aren't they? Oh- I finally took my machine in to get serviced so I don't know when I will be finishing my pillow. Maybe not till next month's sewing class. Thanks for the help though.

  7. These are awesome, and my boys would LOVE them. I hope you are sharing how to do it!

I went and got some freezer paper a while back, just waiting for the free time to make some fun stuff! Thanks for the inspiration! Very cool!

I promised to make my husband a star wars tool belt last year for valentines day and I have all the supplies but I had no idea how to get the characters on there without applique' them or something else that would take way too long. Why didn't I think to freezer paper stencil them on? I'm such a dork! love the yoda.

  14. Hi there! I have one quick question about freezer paper. This may be silly, but can you re-use the stencil again for another piece of fabric? I'm assuming not because of the paint around the edges of the stencil, but I wanted to get your input on the most efficient way to do more than one shirt or fabric in a single setting. Thanks for the great information! -Katie [email protected]

  15. Char @ Crap I've Made says:

    Katie,

I've *heard* you can reuse up to 2 or 3 times, but mine always get ripped when I'm removing them. Maybe you can if you don't have as many small details?

  16. Thanks for responding Char! I haven't tried reusing it yet, because I was concerned the paint left on the edge of the stencil would ruin my iron. Oh well, there's only one way to find out!!

  17. Char @ Crap I've Made says:

I didn't think about that part, LOL! Maybe try putting a piece of scrap fabric over it before re-ironing?
