3 years younger and 3 times meaner.
We found Bennett wedged like this yesterday morning. I got a summons for jury duty yesterday afternoon and feel much the same way. Bennett’s exclusively a boob man. He’s not on solids and has only ever taken a bottle in his sleep. Breastfeeding is not grounds to be excused from jury duty in Utah. Did I mention my big kids are off track, too? Ugh.
We saw these in Family Fun magazine, and decided to give them a try. Macy’s isn’t actually done on account of the fact that when you’re 8, each face requires about 3 hours of thought.
And then Bennett barfed all over his.
So, there was this thing yesterday at Pottery Barn Kids (aka the place we spend all our American Express points). We got tickets weeks ago. BC and the boys had to get up early on a Saturday.
(Sir, if you’re reading….you look like an idiot.)
And when the moment they’d longed for finally came….
Campbell said he hated Storm Troopers and needed to get out of there. Keller wasn’t much better. We try to be good parents. We really do. Our kids just don’t want to have fun. Stay tuned for our trip to the circus in 2 weeks. I’m sure that one will rule.
I think Keller’s still mad that Macy told him the silver spray that got on his ears made him look like he was an old man with ear hair.
And, tomorrow we’re having a contest. Stay tuned for that.
A:
Yes, but they’ll look like skin tight Bermuda shorts instead of khaki church pants.
So, I might have caused my BFF Sheri to get a ticket a few weeks back. You can read the full story here and judge for yourself. Today there was a package wedged into my mailbox for Keller from Sheri. What was in it? This little beauty:

He’s currently sleeping in it.
Macy’s been back for just over a week, but today was the first day of Kindergarten. Everything went relatively smoothly, except for Keller sobbing about not wanting to go to school and demanding I go with to drop him off and not eating breakfast, Macy sobbing about her BFF Uncle Blake leaving for Pittsburgh in the morning, me not having planned on taking the kids to school and therefore not having bathed yet, Bennett screaming to nurse whilst we were waiting for school to start, Campbell laying on the ground and/or humping BC’s leg the whole time…..OK, maybe things didn’t go so smoothly.
