The decision to put hard wood floors on our main level has got me obsessed with rugs. Especially this little beauty from Anthropologie. 
So, since I've seen the piano color and this rug, I'm assuming the new furniture you purchased was for your family room on the main floor? Why have you not yet posted a picture?
Also, LOVE the rug. It's worth the wait.
dude, hardwood floors suck! they are NEVER clean. so you cant walk around barefoot. its terrible. i was obsessed with finding a house with hardwood floors to refinish and now wish i could cover them up with carpet. i think amy likes hers though but thats only because she is happy to sweep/mop about 5 times a day.
I am obsessed with rugs too. This one is going to go GREAT with the piano. And, we are currently installing hardwood in our basement, so I get-ya even more on the rugs.
