3D Paper Snowflakes

Here’s another fun activity to do with the kids while they’re out of school and driving you nuts.

We made a bunch while we were at my mom’s last week and hung them everywhere.

SERIOUSLY easy. If you have paper, scissors, tape (though I think Glue Dots would be fabulous), and a stapler you’re good to go.

We used these directions from How About Orange.

If you don’t have a printer or don’t trust your kids with an Exacto knife (hint: I don’t), you can fold a square into diagonal fourths and then cut with scissors where I made the lines in this picture:

  1. thanks. Kael's been asking if we can make snowflakes, so maybe we'll try this later this week.

  2. Nurse Heidi says:

I take it you're on B track like us…my mom made a bunch of snowflakes with my kids last week too, though we didn't think of doing 3D. Good idea!

  3. Those are really cute! I will need a project when the kids are home :)

  4. These are great – they look so impressive when finished, but are so easy to make. I made a batch for work last year using scrapbooking paper. The paper had different colours front & back, this gave a great effect to the final snowflake.

  5. I know this web page offers quality dependent articles or reviews and
extra information, is there any other web site which gives these kinds of
    stuff in quality?
