You guys had some GREAT suggestions.
Friday we hit the Carnegie Science Center. WAY fun…even if some people were wearing the same shoes as the robot.
We ate at some place that reminded me of The Old Spaghetti Factory, but had a weird old dude playing the guitar and singing. He almost made my niece cry.
We went bowling (upstairs!).
Saturday, we went to Amish country and a cheese store (mmmm….cheese curds!).
We checked out Baldinger’s.
I managed to only buy 4 cookie cutters, so that was good.
If you’re ever there and see these near the register 4 for 25 cents, DO NOT buy them. SICK!
Sunday we took it easy…went to church, played games and watched movies. We saw where my brother goes to school
Monday, we had breakfast at the Dor-Stop.
We rode the incline.
We went to the children’s museum.
We ate at Primanti’s. I had pastrami.
We went to Pat Catan’s. I saved $247. Our new favorite joke is “Remember that time you saved $247?”
Tuesday, we went to the strip and bought some souvenirs and ate chicken on a stick.
We got stuck in traffic and almost missed our flight home.
We cried nearly the whole way to Houston and wished we lived closer to people we love.
Why am I just learning about this Pat Catan's now???
Looks like you had a fun trip! Glad you got to spend time with your brother and his cute little family. Also glad you are back home!
How did you pronounce Amish, btw?
And I wish you lived closer to me, too
I'm glad you had so much fun. You all deserved it. And your niece is ADORABLE.
Looks like you had fun. How nice for you to spend some time with your older kids. Did your cute Macy get a perm?
I was about to ask the same question as Sheri. Welcome home. Looks like fun. And when did Keller get so big?
now THATS the picture i was waiting for…of little HC…to see how much she has grown! she is a CUTIE!!
You all looked like you had a great time!
I can't believe you didn't like the "flying saucers!" That's the candy you didn't like I think they're regional – I'm from PA too and, growing up, I LOVED those things!! My mom will still bring them home from the corner store in her neighborhood from time to time!

Glad you are home safe!
Glad to hear your trip was fun! And seeing your Primanti's sandwich this early made me especially hungry and homesick.
No perm…just a waver iron my SIL still has from the 80's!
I am SO glad you had a good time. You really lucked out with the good weather up in PA this past weekend and it looks like you were able to see many of our suggestions! It makes me a little homesick to see the pic from Mt.Washington…just beautiful! Here's the real question though. Did you actually like the Primanti's? Some people think it's the weirdest thing ever!
I did actually enjoy the Primanti's!
So glad you had fun while in my town. Question. I have lived here 2 years and never been to the store where they have tons of cookie cutters…can you email me the name. I would love to go! Thanks.

I saw the Dor Stop restaurant on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Did you get the captain crunch french toast??
I'm not sure what was on the French toast I got, but it was delicious and it had raspberry and cream cheesey filling. Mmmm!
