I’m woefully behind on responding to emails. I’m working on it. Probably not today, though.
Remember this post?
I got a ton of emails asking where I found my magazine racks. The bad news was that it was a local store and that they sold out and had no plans to get any more. The good news? Look what I found at Hobby Lobby on Saturday!
So, if you’re still in the market, check out Hobby Lobby.
We have a new addition to the crap making family. Nope. Not a baby. Not a puppy. (I’d be more likely to get another kid than a pet.)
Macy got a sewing machine for Christmas, but it didn’t work well. We sent it back and hadn’t bothered to replace it yet. What? It’s only been 4 months. Ha! And then I got to thinking that if I was going to spend money on a machine, it needed to be nice enough for me to use whilst mine’s getting serviced. So, after months of deliberation, a surprise tax return, and a killer deal…
And, last call for submissions to the Flickr group for this week’s Flickr Feature Friday. I haven’t picked a feature yet. Don’t forget to leave your blog address if you want a shout out!
So glad I'm not the only one who gifted her daughter with a sewing machine nice enough to "borrow."
Loved the sewing scraps ashlie and cameron brought home. If even the boy was into it, it must be a good machine!
Man! Now I really need a daughter, if it means I can justify a back-up machine.
Oohh…nice sewing machine. You'll have to let me know if you like it. Have you had a Baby Lock before? I have my eye on the decorators choice one, but i can't decide!
Lynette,
I have the Decorator's Choice for myself and I ADORE it.
We actually went to buy this one: http://www.babylock.com/sewing/grace/but it's apparently backordered for who knows how long. So, they were offering the Crafter's Choice for a steal.
Sweet! And lol Sabra!
Totally jealous that your daughter has a better machine than me! Lucky girl! Does she sew a lot?
Yeah…she sews quite a bit: skirts, pajamas, etc.
Char! I am so grateful for this post and headed to Hobby Lobby in Layton today! I have seen cute ones at Rod Works, but did not want to pay $30.00 a piece if I did not have to. I have wanted them ever since I saw what you did with your piano books…what a great idea.
Oh, and if you need a serger, I can't think of one I'd want more than an Imagine or Evolve by BabyLock. Jet puff threading is the way to go!
