UPrinting: HUGE giveaway!

If you follow along on Facebook, you may have seen my new business cards.

They don’t really “go” with my current blog design.  I’ve got a new one in the works, which you should be seeing shortly.

I ordered from UPrinting based on the recommendation of paper nerd and print snob extraordinaire Lara (from Announced Design).

I placed my order on March 21st and had my cards in my hot little hands March 28th.  Nice, right?  (And plenty of time left to order before SNAP!, in case you haven’t done that yet!)  I went with the glossy paper and I’m seriously IN LOVE.  I didn’t have any issues with image formatting (which has happened in the past with other companies).  I want you to know that these cards weren’t freebies and that I spent my own real money on them.

The only thing I’d change?

Next time I might spring for the die-cut business cards with the rounded corners.

I guess I could just get busy with my corner rounding punch instead… Winking smile

So, what’s in it for you?

In addition to a bunch of their fabulous printed items (canvas print, custom stickers, business cards, magnet printing, custom postcards), UPrinting is giving away an iPad!

There are several of us participating in this giveaway, so to make entering easy and central, we’re using Rafflecopter.  You don’t have to leave a million comments either.  Nice, right?

  2. You are magical with the rafflecopter. That is all.

  3. I too like the die-cut cards – thanks for the recommendation! I am not sure how we are supposed to enter the contest for the i-pad; perhaps I just read all this too fast?! Anyhow, hopefully this counts as an entry.

  4. Nice giveaway and nice cards! I’m off to check them out because I need to print more cards myself.

  5. Holy buckets would I love an iPad! I also am in dire need of making a business card to hand to my angel families, and this would be a great kick in the pants to do it.

  11. Hope I win!!! Love y our new cards.

  12. Cool! LOVE those cards :)

  13. I say, if you are going to start punching off corners, do opposites and leave the other corners. I like that look best. Now I wish I had a “need” for business cards.

  14. I <3 those business cards!

  15. Good grief, where have I BEEN??! I’ve just found your website, and I am IN LOVE ♥ OMG. First and foremost, LOVE the name, Crap I’ve Made. Genius!! I have to tell you a quick story … Hubby orders a lot on line (geesh, more than ME!) and one day, I checked the return label and I SWEAR the box came from a firm called “CRAP ONLINE”. Hubby calls home to find out if his package he’s ordered arrived and I have a giggle-fit wondering what the heck he’s ordered from “CRAP ONLINE.” Turns out it’s CPAP online (no R), or C-PAP … new filters for his breathing machine for sleep apnea. But of course, now we refer to it as CRAP online. I have a lot of those misreads: like the time he ordered Gevalia coffee and I thought it said “Genitalia”. Oh brother — I need to SLOW DOWN and actually READ!!

LOVE the cards and new source for online printing. I’m going to go off to see what trouble I can stir. I’ve been looking into new creative expressions for my cardmaking … maybe I’ll go explore!

And thank you for the opportunity to win an iPad. I’ve been saving for one … I decided I NEEEEEEED to have one to play solitaire in my “free time” (Bwaaaahhh–hahahaha), but it seems a bit of a wretched excess when I can buy an actual deck of cards for a buck at the Dollar Store. I wouldn’t feel like I was “wasting” my crafting dollars if I won one and who knows, maybe I’ll actually use an APP or two that will help my reading skills. LOL.

I guess I have no right then to criticize the gal who SWEARS she thinks my name is CardDonkey … or the other who thinks I spend CardMONEY … or what I refer to hubby, CADmonkey. 8-} … oh silly day!

    Off to explore…

  18. Oh crap. I won’t do Facebook, so I guess I’m out. That’s a shame; I need some biz cards because I just started a business, but I can’t enter. Sigh. I just hate all the FB coersion.
