Depending on what day of the week it is, I have to drop kids off for school starting at:
7:50
8:30
9:30
9:50
I have to pick kids up from school at:
11:30
1:25
2:50
3:05
I have to get kids to practices at:
5:30-7:00
5:30-7:30 (though it’s usually 8:00)
5:00-6:30
I have to get kids to scouts/some other function at:
4:00-5:00
7:00-8:00 or later
And Saturdays?
This week we have one kid that needs dropping off at 8 for a game from 9-10:30 and another kid that needs dropping off at 10:30 for a game at 11. Wheee!
So yeah.
I’ve managed to squeeze in a tiny bit of craft time, though it’s usually late at night when the lighting’s bad.
At least our team spirit is good?
#14 there right in the middle is mine. And truthfully…there’s no way I’d rather spend my time. These kids make me happier than I’d ever imagined. Things will continue to be quieter than normal around here. I hope you’ll understand.
See you soon!

Once they’re all graduated you’ll have TONS of time.
No, that’s false too. I can’t think of a single woman who isn’t busy. As one time slot opens up, two more get filled! But you know what they say, you want something done, ask a busy person!
How did you make the boys’ shirts? Iron-on vinyl?
Yeah…I picked it up locally at Regional Supply. Their online store front is Vinyl Outlet.
You are so cute. I love checking in to see how you are doing. Today I heard an Alanis Morrissette song and thought of you. Tomorrow when I got to Little Caesars and get their crazy bread, I will think of you then too.
Joni, I miss you a million. My kids busted out The Mission to help in their Conference tent building just yesterday. Let’s make Sara go to lunch with us. Soon.
Good for you!!!!
I certainly understand. As a mom of 6 (mostly grown now) I surly remember those days, but it was darn funny to see you write it down. No wonder I had to schedule in a shower!

I hear you. I told someone that I have too many kids going to too many different places at either the SAME time to make it interesting or all day long. The poor baby spends from 4 to 9 hours in the car a day…We aren’t sure if we are coming or going at some points!
But I wouldn’t change a thing!
I saw the name of your blog and I just HAD to look – LOL! Love your post (and your attitude). The pics of your back-to-school kiddos are really, really cute. I”m looking forward to spending a little more time looking around your blog. I have a feeling you will offer a few laughs. Thanks!
Hi Char. I found your blog and love your projects. My hubby was looking over my shoulder one time and said that he knows you. I’m married to Brandon Winder. Small world!
Yes! Brandon! I stared at the back of his head in lots of nerd classes over the years, thanks to alphabetical order seating (my last name used to be Young). Tell him hello!
