Candelabras: Dollar Tree

Framed prints: Lifestyle Crafts die cuts and letterpress.  How to here.

Subway art: The girls at eighteen25.

Crows: Dollar Tree

Spider web plate: Tutorial here.

Bat banner and bats on frame: Lifestyle Crafts Be Spooked, bats die.  I used the large size for the banner and the small size for the frame.

And, not mantel related, but festive nonetheless:

  2. Today I have to start decorating. I’m getting the decorating bug. I waited as long as I could but today seems like a great one. I really love your mantle. The bat garland is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This looks gorgeous! What a great display–you are so super talented!

  4. I’ve got to get back to the Dollar Tree; they were still getting their Halloween stuff out when I went a couple of weeks ago, and I really like those candelabras.

  5. Hey! I don’t think I comment on here often, I’m a bit of a lurker (sorry about that!) but I had to tell you this – You totally make me wish I had a mantle. Your stuff is always SO cute!

  6. Been waiting for you mantel reveal! My Halloween decor is in a pile on my dining room table…Should think about getting that set up! Your mantel looks great. Now I think I need to have a Pyrex collection too.

  7. Looks wonderful! Yes! Our garage currently looks like Halloween has thrown up in it! Our bins have been down from the attic for two weeks now and yet very little decorating has begun. Need to get a move on it… my Halloween party is on the 21st! eeek!

  8. Ok the fact that you have seasonal Pyrex cracks me up. :) Everything looks wonderful!
    xoxo,
    Amy
I guess I need to build me a mantel

  9. I had no idea there was black Pyrex…you are the coolest! I love your mantle…wish I had one! Lol

  10. What a great mantel! I think I’ll steal your idea for my orange Pyrex bowls. Thanks for sharing!

  11. I love it! I have always coveted your green shutters. I see you change up the decor and I think “That is perfect with those decorations!” And then you change it out again and I think the same thing! That green rocks. One day I will be cool and have a mantel….

  12. YES. About 2 weeks ago! I’m horrible!

Very cute, Char. Love those green shutters.

  14. Love it. Simple and perfect. Halloween exploded in my house this week. I’ve been crafting up a storm and I still have so much more to add. The husband thinks I’ve lost my mind ;)

  15. Fantistico!!!

  16. Your mantel is SOOOO cute! It’s just perfect!

  17. This is so cute! I have been getting into the Halloween spirit for a couple weeks now. Love it! Hey, I’m hosting my first ever linky party next Tuesday, Oct. 4th and it’s for all things Halloween! I would love for yout o add this to the party. http://www.onetoughmom.blogspot.com for {Not So} Tough Tuesdays! Hope to see you there!

  18. I’m completely loving this – especially the pea green shutter with the black and orange decorations! Perfect! Happy Halloween!

  19. Looks great. I’m dragging this year, no Fall decorating yet.

  20. I love the mantel!! It’s colorful and fun yet still spooky and perfect for Halloween! I’ve been picking up ideas on what to do for Halloween but haven’t put any decor out yet. Maybe next weekend? Keep up the good work!

  21. L-O-V-E the color of those shutters! Also love the bat garland, the candelabras, the pyres, etc., etc., etc. Guess I need to get my decorations out!

  22. Oh I love the green shutter and bat garland. Well done, well done. I just started playing with my mantle and two bags of dollar store gourds & pumpkins this morning. It’s getting there, but getting needed height and balance across the mantle is always a trick, isn’t it? More tweaking to do.

  23. Every time I move, which is almost once a year, I promise myself that I will begin holiday decorating. And then I never do! I don’t have a mantel. Where else would you suggest would be a good place to start…always decorate that one spot in the home…halloween, christmas etc?
