How have I lived 35 years and never experienced them? I’m obsessed and I’ve got a couple of projects in the works.

Guess who has jury duty for pretty much the entire month of December! Hint: me.

Scentsy Warmer Makeover

Emily sent me one of Scentsy’s DIY Warmers. Here it is straight out of the box.

Scentsy has a bunch of different theme packs (seriously…20+). However, given my current orange obsession, I decided to pimp my warmer on my own.

I busted out my Silhouette and started cutting.

I’m not thrilled with the circle-y border up top, but the good news is I can change it easily. I’m loving that I can change it up any time I want. I’ve got big plans for Christmas already!

An entire long weekend of fun…

Mini Academy (One full day/evening of classes, plus catered meal, and candy buffet): $85 for Thursday, $100 for Friday or Saturday

Full Academy (3 full days/evenings of classes, plus 3 catered meals, and candy buffet): $245 for all three days!

A la Carte: $30 per class

*Some classes require an additional fee for supplies.

Pillow Week

Are you familiar with Erin from House on Hill Road?

Hers is one of the first blogs I ever started reading. I’ve probably made a dozen of her twirly skirts…and I’m not exaggerating.

Erin’s hosting pillow week this week. And while I don’t think I can commit to a pillow a day, I do have a few projects in mind.

To kick things off, I whipped this up:

I used some of the same aqua linen I used for the round ruffle pillow way back when.

The monogram is flocked heat transfer that I cut out with my Silhouette.

Anybody got any great pillow tutorials they want to suggest?

Giveaway: Scentsy

Meet Emily. Emily and I have known each other (in the internet sense) for several years. She’s an Independent Scentsy Director. What’s that mean? It means she knows her crap!

Are you familiar with Scentsy? Bascially, Scentsy = smelly candles without the fire hazard (or am I the only one that can’t remember to blow those suckers out?).

One time I really really REALLY needed an aqua colored warmer. I guess it had been discontinued? Emily found me one and had it on my doorstep in a couple of days.

They have these cute little new plug-in warmers, too…so you don’t lose any counter space. Heck, you don’t even NEED counter space!

Scentsy also has stuffed animals.

WHAT?!?!

(That’s what I said, anyway.)

Emily sent me one to ~~sniff~~ sample. You put a scent packet thing (total technical term) in the back and zip it up.

Bennett thinks he’s the boss of our frog (named Turtle), but he accidentally left it in my room the other night and the experience was quite pleasant. When I was awakened by BC’s RLS approximately 387 times, at least I had something nice to smell!

Emily also sent me a DIY warmer.

I’m going to fancy it up with my Silhouette and post the results later in the week.
